It’s just about Fall here in South Florida!
It may not feel like Fall with the sun still blazing down and making us all sweat profusely, but none the less, it’s time for scarecrows, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, corn mazes, apple cider doughnuts and planning out what we are planting for our fall gardens!
Now is the perfect time to amend your soil with compost to replenish any nutrients your plants used in the previous growing season. Add 2 to 3 inches of compost to your soil beds and mix into the top 6 inches of soil. You can use a shovel or even your hands to mix.
